This month, we’re chasing the most beautiful natural light there is. Golden hour—the soft, warm light just after sunrise or before sunset—gives photos a gorgeous glow, and Blue hour—the cooler, moodier light just before sunrise or after sunset—creates a whole different atmosphere.
Work with low-angle natural light just after sunrise or before sunset. Watch how shadows stretch, how colours shift, and how the whole world seems to quiet down at the edges of the day. Understand how colour temperature and shadows shape mood. This is an opportunity to be really conscious of light, and plan to be on site when that magic light occurs.
