EYES OF WILDLIFE
Inspired by Martin Ross's presentation on wildlife photography.

Photographing wildlife, the eyes matter. Sharp, expressive eyes create a connection between the subject and the viewer, bringing life, emotion, and personality to an image. Whether your subject is a songbird, a squirrel, a deer, a dragonfly, or something much larger, make the eyes the star of the photograph.

Wildlife can be found almost anywhere. Visit a local park, nature reserve, pond, shoreline, or even your own backyard. Patience is often the most valuable piece of equipment you can bring.

Your challenge is to capture up to three images where the eyes of a wild creature immediately draw the viewer into the photograph.

And remember, the challenge is to find plenty of "Wild Eyes" without involving Granville Street.

Wildlife doesn't have to be rare or exotic. A chickadee at your feeder, a spider in the garden, a raccoon in the alley, or a seal at the beach can all make compelling subjects. 😉
