Photography Judging and the Art of Commenting (7:00 PM PDT)
Camera clubs offer members some great opportunities to learn and practice their craft, one of which is regular photo competitions, including monthly themes. Seeing other members’ images and getting critiques on your own is one good way to improve your photography. Thinking like a photo contest judge is an even more powerful way to rapidly improve the quality of your photographs, and maybe your entries to competitions.
Our own Paul Larose will lead a discussion about the judging of photographs, the “art” of commenting on photographs of others, and the importance of the title you create to convey the goal of your photograph as it influences commenting and judging of your photographic work.
