Title: New West Christmas Lights

Time: 6:30 - 8:30

Meet: Tipperary Park, 511 Royal Ave.

(Turn onto 4th St. to enter parking off of Royal Ave)

 

This outing will be a Night shoot walkabout and will begin at Tipperary Park at 6:30. This area is adjacent to the City Hall where we can park.

 

To follow these instructions, you should look at the map with you will have received by email.  But, you can also find the PDF map on the website. 

 

Most of this tour can be walked, but three  spots need to be driven to, which will be optional. Number 10/11 and 12 could be done on your own time and still be included to the gallery. There will be a pdf of a map and a suggested path to follow. These are festive locations known to be of significant display, marked with numbers and some addresses. 

The park no.(1) will be lit up, where we will start our walk. After viewing this, we will travel past city hall no.(2), which also will be lit up. Then onto no.(3) - go across 6th St, at Queens. Then return to Queens to 4th st. to no.(4). On to no.(5) 3rd Ave. On to no.(6) 1st St. On to no.(7) Rose Garden. Go through the park or along 1st to get to no.(8) Large tree. On to no.(9) 7th Ave and then start the return on 4th St to Tipperary Park.  

There should be some opportunities for shots that will fit in with the Dec. theme of Bokeh. There will also be a surprise one shot task, to benefit another type of future outing. This will be for each member to contribute to and it is not too difficult. It's more or less, to see if we can make something out of a simple detail. Details at the event.
