The event will be held on September 19, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This will be the first Outing for the start of our 2026-27 season.

The walk will include walking the Sapperton Landing riverside path, where you will see scenic views of The Fraser River, A New Bridge / Old Bridge and endless opportunities for photographing marine Activity… w/ pleasure craft, tug boats, bird wildlife, reflections and more.

Also, there will be personalized viewing inside of The Wooden Boat Societies workshop. With permission we will be allowed to photograph some skilled
craftsman and their tools at work. There is a lot of interesting items to photograph inside the shop. They would be delighted for us to share our photos with them as well.

Remember while shooting to think about using B/W, as the September monthly theme and an upcoming CAPA competition are in Monochrome. We will meet at 60 E Columbia St, New Westminster, BC V3L 3V8 @ 10:00 AM  ( Located in the Brunette-Fraser Regional Greenway - Sapperton Landing Site )

There is ample free parking @ 1- E. Columbia (Sapperton Pump Station - also where the restrooms are located) and minimum parking near The Wooden Boat Society building, 60 - E.Columbia  The Sapperton Skytrain station is a short walk away. There will be a Map available soon.
