The event will be held on February 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Yaletown was the Industrial heart of Vancouver. It is steeped in History, but has changed to become home of Vancouver's elite society. The most historic- the charismatic Railway Roundhouse and the Canadian Pacific 374 vintage steam engine. The area has become an urban oasis, with views of False Creek, the Seawall boardwalk, Vancouver architecture, Parks and lagoon, and much more. There is a ton of textures and contrast on this walk. This will fit nicely with The Feb. theme -Nature in Black and White or alternately Intentional Black and White photography.
At this event, for some Fun, there will be an individual shot request, called Color Splash Photography. The feedback we get will help decide on a future challenge for a month theme. The ask is- for just one photo(or more if you want). So, the idea is, to have a photo with a monochrome background and have an object or subject in One color This can be achieved with editing. The color will be of your choice and this is to create a strong focal point in the image. As an example: if its raining, only the umbrella will be colored, if its a portrait, only the hair or lips or eyes would be colored, if its in Nature, a single bird or a birds eye in a photo. Just have fun with it.
Parking: There are multiple Paid Parking lots close by - AGAIN- reminder to carpool
