Three in-house experts share their expertise.
Sports Photography
Sports photography is a dynamic and challenging genre that requires a combination of technical skill, artistic vision, and quick reflexes. Photographers must be able to anticipate the action, freeze fleeting moments in time, and convey the emotion and intensity of the game. Ian Pearson is providing a presentation on his passion for Sport Photography.
The Art of the Frame
When you out with your camera, do you click and walk? Glenn will be discussing the importance of composition, lighting, negative space, impact, story, and post-production etc., as well as trying to see the scene from different perspectives which might include taking multiple images. Glenn will also be discussing a challenge for the February 18 meeting.
Close up and Macro
Ever wondered how people get those close-up shots of small subjects, including things like bugs and flowers? Geoff will be explaining the differences between close up and macro photography, as well as touching on some of the equipment used for this genre of photography.
