This lake, part of Golden Ears Provincial Park, has calm waters, old-growth forest, and picnic-friendly beaches. Alouette Lake is known for its reflections whether it be the forest that surrounds the lake, the mountains or clouds reflecting back into the water. This could yield subjects for the May Theme – Reflections.
