 This year’s theme is Photography Is a Verb—a reminder tha
 t photography is about curiosity, creativity, learning, and making im
 ages, not simply owning a camera.\n

 So, we’re starting the year by asking: What have you been doing
  with your photography? We’d like members to bring something fr
 om their recent photography to share with the club. It could be a sho
 rt slide show of up to 4 minutes, up to 6 images to show and talk abo
 ut, a photographic project you’ve been working on, or really an
 ything photographic you’d like to share.\n
 \n
 No masterpieces required. We’d simply like to see what people h
 ave been photographing, experimenting with, learning — or perha
 ps struggling with — over the summer and the past few months.\n
 \n
 We’ll also take some time to look ahead to the coming club year
 , with a preview of presentations, workshops, outings, competitions, 
 themes and other opportunities to get involved.\n
 \n
 For newer members, we’ll give a brief introduction to the club 
 website and how it fits into our programs, along with a short introdu
 ction to CAPA and the opportunities available through individual memb
 ership.\n
 \n
 Come prepared to share, catch up with everyone, and hopefully leave w
 ith something that makes you want to pick up your camera.\n
