If you close your eyes you can visualize the beautiful snow covered landscape with plumes of steam against the blue sky.The majestic elk and bison gathering warmth from the thermal areas. We visit and photograph Old Faithful, West Thumb and Yellowstone Canyon and much more. Cost: $2375.00 - includes everything except meals. The Abbotsford Photographic Arts club has been hosting a Photographic Seminar for the last 31 years. The seminar started very small with only a few people to the present where we host approx 550 registrants. We present a first class Featured Speaker, and give registrants the opportunity to choose from 32 Workshops on photography of all levels, a Trade Show, a Photo Competition, a Print Show, great Door Prizes , free lunch, etc. Saturday, The featured speaker presents an afternoon and evening presentation. Attendees attend their choice of 4 from 32 different workshops designed for all levels of photographers. are treated to a delicious soup and sandwich lunch. They can also attend accompanying Trade Show that gives photographers the opportunity to view the latest models of cameras and accessories at the display tables of the participating sponsors The sponsors are made up of camera, equipment and, accessory manufacturers and distributors, as well as photo labs, Hotels, and a local newspaper. Please visit their pages. To complete the day we have a large number of door prizes of very good photography equipment, accessories, gift certificates, etc. All donated by our valued sponsors. All amateur photographers, whether attending the seminar or not, can enter the Photographic Competition for prints, slides, and digitally projected images. The Delta Photo Club is very pleased to invite all members of your Club to participate in the fourteenth annual Delta Invitational Photographic Print Challenge, which is to be judged on: Sunday, November 23, 2008 . There are a few changes this year.
Participating clubs are: Crescent Beach, Richmond, Delta, New Westminster and Langley. Please read the page carefully for details regarding your submissions. We will be choosing our club's prints at an upcoming meeting. |
